Example 2

For this example we will recreate Fig. 6 from the Miller et al. paper mentioned on the PhenCode home page. This figure shows several observed deletions in the human PAH gene, along with the amino acids corresponding to these sites in many other species.

We begin by using the PhenCode query page to load up the deletions from LSDBs into a custom track at the UCSC Genome Browser. (Also see How to view PhenCode tracks at the Genome Browser.)
