Our query finds six patients. Clicking on an ID number takes you to a page with more information about that particular patient, in this case someone having the mutation known as the "Hispanic deletion". The values under Laboratory Findings show that the patient is anemic (normal Hb levels are in the range 12-18 g/dL, but the patient has only 9.8 g/dL) and that 2.8 times as much alpha-globin is being made as beta-globin.
